Joby Gorillamobile 3G/3GS
Joby updated its defining tripod line this afternoon by launching the Gorillamobile 3G/3GS. The add-on preserves Joby's distinctive trick of using three bendable arms that lets the Gorillamobile cling to many surfaces, such as a bike's handlebars, but adds a removable case that both holds an iPhone 3G/3GS in place and detaches to serve as basic protection in a pocket. Uniting the two gives either Apple device a more stable platform for photos or videos without needing a flat surface for a regular tripod.

Joby GorillaMobile Tripod
Joby this afternoon shifted the GorillaPod past its original camera focus and launched the GorillaMobile. The tripod can attach to the back of many devices, particularly pocketable devices like the iPhone or a Flip camera, and relies on the company's signature adjustable ball joint legs to give it a stable surface regardless of where it's placed. It works as a conventional stand but can be bent to grab on to surfaces such as a bicycle handle.

Joby Zivio
Joby said today that it would take Bluetooth headsets upscale at CES with the Zivio. The company's first earpiece is not just comparatively stylish but one of the very few to offer a retractable microphone boom. Adding this extension improves outgoing clarity for a phone call in noisy conditions; with a shorter distance to the mouth, the microphone is less likely to be hobbled by strong winds, according to Joby. The Zivio is likewise purported to be easier to wear with a removable, ball-mounted ear hook that pivots to hang depending on the ear's shape.
