Third corporate logo change in Microsoft history
Microsoft has updated its corporate logo for the third time in its history. After being introduced 25 years ago, the bold, italicized text with a cut into the central letter "O" has been replaced by a Metro-style "window" logo with a more up-to-date font choice, as part of its product rebranding efforts this year. Microsoft Brand Strategy Manager Jeffrey Meisner says the logo "should evolve to visually accentuate this new beginning."
