Offers USB touchscreen for Windows 7 computers
Mimo has taken its turn at a capacitive USB-powered touchscreen monitor. The Mimo Magic Touch is a 10.1-inch display that can respond to as many as four touch-points at any one time when connected to a Windows 7 computer. For devices running other operating systems, including Windows 2000/XP/Vista and Mac OS X, it still supports a display-only mode.
Mimo ships 7-inch, USB touchscreen monitor
Mimo has now released a new version of its 7-inch, USB-connected touchscreen monitor, the Mimo 720-F "Flex Screen." It's designed to be easily mountable in a wide variety of locations and has a VESA 75 Standard bracket along with the usual single USB 2.0 port for both power and signal.
Mimo intros 7-inch touscreen auxiliary display
Mimo introduced what it touts as the industry's lowest priced auxiliary monitor on Monday, the 7-inch iMo Pivot Touch. It has a display with 800x480 resolution, 350cd/m2 brightness and a 400:1 contrast ratio. It can act as a secondary display for desktop computers, or as a standalone device, displaying digital photos and videos.
MIMO 710-Slider USB LCD
MIMO rendered its mini monitors more portable on Monday by launching the 710-Slider. While it has the same 7-inch, 800x480 display as some earlier displays, its stand design lets the display fold completely flat with the base and lets users tote the display safely as a companion display for a notebook. Like before, the new version is completely driven by USB and receives both the visual signal and power over the single cable.
MIMO 7-inch USB monitors
MIMO has recently introduced two 7-inch auxiliary monitors, the UM-710 and the touchscreen UM-740 that plug in to PCs and Macs via a single USB 2.0 port for both video signal and power connection. Either screen sports an 800x480 resolution and can display whatever users drag onto them from their primary desktop display. The monitors can be rotated to a portrait view in addition to the default horizontal orientation.
