OWC ships MacBook Pro Retina display SSD upgrade

User installable upgrade nearly doubles stock capacity
Accessory and upgrade manufacturer OWC announced the first SSD upgrade for the 2012 MacBook Pro with Retina display. The drive is available in a single 480GB capacity, and upgrades purchasing before September 30 will receive the OWC Envoy Pro USB 3.0 bus-powered portable enclosure for reutilizing the removed SSD as an external drive at no additional cost.
