WOWee has brought its latest gadget to CES, the Pro portable speaker. Electronista stopped by the company's booth to listen to the latest model, which adds a microphone and a Bluetooth radio to the Slim variant that was released approximately one year ago.
MicroVision has unveiled its latest pico projector, the ShowWX+HDMI. The projector provides many of the same features as the company's ShowWX+, but with an HDMI port alongside a connector designed for iOS devices such as the iPhone, iPod touch and iPad. Users can also attach computers via VGA connectors using a special adapter that can be purchased separately.
Pioneer and MicroVision have collaborated to develop new heads-up display (HUD) technology geared for vehicles. The system, which was previewed this week at the CEATEC expo in Japan, utilizes MicroVision's PicoP display technology with red, blue and green lasers to bring full color to the display. The same technology is found in the company's latest pico projector.
MicroVision has announced a new laser pico projector that's compatible with Apple's iPhone, iPod touch and iPad. The SHOWWX+ can throw up images sized between 12 and 100 inches, though its resolution is just 848x480. The device is in its second generation, and has a brightness of 15 lumens as well as a contrast ratio or 5,000:1.
