Apple guilty of infringing patents in Mobilemedia lawsuit

A court has ruled Apple and the iPhone guilty of infringing three patents belonging to Mobilemedia, Bloomberg is reporting via its Twitter feed. The patents relate to features like cover screen rotation; few other details of the ruling have been disclosed yet, but the outcome may have some strategic importance. Mobilemedia is in fact a joint venture between Sony, Nokia, and a Denver-based patent licenser, MPEG LA.
