Android-based Nokia N1 tablet has 7.9-inch display, Z Launcher
Nokia's first hardware release since its break-up with Microsoft is an Android tablet, though rather than producing the device itself, Nokia is applying its branding and design skills with a third-party manufacturer. The N1 possesses a 7.9-inch 4:3 aspect ratio IPS display with a high 2048x1536 resolution, protected by Gorilla Glass 3 and using the same fully-laminated zero air-gap process as its smartphones, packed into a 6.9mm-thick aluminum unibody casing highly reminiscent of the iPad mini.
CyanogenMod ROM for Oppo N1 available to download
Owners of the standard version of the Oppo N1 are able to download and install the CyanogenMod ROM for the device. The ROM, replacing the ColorOS version of Android offered with the device by default, has been customized to take advantage of some of the built-in hardware, reports Android Central. Support for the rotating camera and the O-Click Bluetooth remote control are included in the ROM, which can be downloaded from the Oppo Forums.

Oppo has launched another mid-range smartphone in China, while another recent release has been spotted flying another company's colors. The Oppo N1 has been photographed with Pepsi branding as a promotional limited-edition device, and the Oppo R1 offers a 5-inch IPS display, a resolution of 720x1280, and a thickness of just 7.1mm.
