Majority of Galaxy S devices will get Android 4.4 update
Samsung has confirmed it will be bringing Android 4.4.2 to a large number of its mobile devices in the United States. The upgrade to Android KitKat, rumored last month, will apparently start rolling out to devices from today onwards, and while the timing will vary between carriers and individual devices, it will continue "throughout the coming months."
Android software upgrade for older Galaxy devices touted after S4 update
Samsung may be updating its older flagship smartphones to Android KitKat in the future, according to a rumor. Despite the Galaxy S III and the Galaxy Note 2 being in the middle of updating to Android 4.3 through some carriers, it is claimed that the smartphone manufacturer will boost both devices to Android 4.4.2 by the end of March.
Large Samsung tablet appears at FCC, 12-inch display estimated
A new FCC filing shows Samsung is planning to release a large tablet. The listing for the SM-P905 is believed by Engadget to have a display measuring somewhere in the region of 12 inches and a resolution of 2,560x1,600. Aside from its Wi-Fi and LTE connectivity, it is believed to form part of the Galaxy Note family of devices thanks to the presence of a pen slot.
Galaxy S 4, S III, Note II to gain Jelly Bean 4.3 from SFR by December
Android version 4.3 will be reaching the Samsung Galaxy S 4 in October, according to a European carrier's update roadmap. SFR of France has revealed that, just as reported earlier, the Galaxy S 4 will be the first of three Samsung devices to get the update to 4.3 Jelly Bean, with the Galaxy S III and Galaxy Note II both getting it at a later time.
Hovering S Pen above Galaxy Note 3 allows for app switching
Samsung has launched the latest model in its line of phablet devices. The Galaxy Note 3 brings with it a 5.7-inch Full HD Super AMOLED display, 0.2 inches larger than its predecessor, slight design changes, and significantly improved S Pen functionality, along with the usual specifications boost associated with new hardware versions, at the same time as its companion accessory, the Galaxy Gear smartwatch.

Photographs of what is claimed to be the Samsung Galaxy Note III have appeared online. The latest image appears to show a smartphone with a large screen, possibly confirming the 5.99-inch display claimed in previous rumors, and seems to be a similar device to one in other photographs leaked over the weekend.
