Sony PlayStation Store to get largest redesign to date in October
Sony showed off images of what a newly redesigned PlayStation store will look like at a London press event on Thursday. The details were shared by VG 24/7 and include new features as well as an all-new look for the digital storefront that's a showcase for the latest content for the PlayStation 3, PlayStation Vita, and PSP. Europe will get the update first, on October 17, while North American users will get to experience it on October 23.

Sony pulls PSP game to stop more PS Vita hacks
Sony has removed Super Collapse 3 from the Playstation Store after the title was found to be vulnerable to a PS Vita exploit. The company removed the game from the store 24 hours after the exploit was noted on the Wololo.net blog, weeks after the same vulnerability was discovered in Motorstorm and Everybody's Tennis.

Pulled exploitable PSN games downloadable again
Sony has returned MotorStorm Arctic Edge and Everybody's Tennis to the PlayStation Store, following the firmware update for the PS Vita. The games allowed hackers to exploit vulnerabilities in the PSP emulator, enabling them to run their own software on Sony's handheld game console.

Sony pulls another PSP game to stop PS Vita hacks
Sony has pulled Everybody’s Tennis from the PlayStation Store in response to a potential new PS Vita hack, making it the second title to be removed in the past two weeks. As with Motorstorm: Arctic Ice, which was removed in early March, installation of the game on the PS Vita allows hackers to exploit a vulnerability in the PSP emulator allowing homebrew software to be installed on the handheld console.

Sony Xperia S gets promised PlayStation games
The PlayStation Store for the Sony Xperia S has now gone live. The Xperia S launched as a PlayStation Certified device, however, it started shipping before the associated store was active, leaving users without any access to PlayStation games. Users can now access 14 original 32-bit classic PS One titles including Twisted Metal, Kula World, Driver and Rayman, although two additional titles are reserved only for the Xperia Play.

PS Vita gets Netflix, Flickr, Live Tweet apps
With the full launch of the PS Vita in the US on Wednesday, Sony has released a number of new games and apps in the online PlayStation Store. Users can now download the free Flickr, Live Tweet, and Netflix apps. Flickr is a photo-sharing site that lets users join groups and make personalized photo streams.

Sony limits PS3 and PSP game reach to curb sharing
Sony on Friday outlined a plan to curb the number of devices that can use a game. Any PlayStation Store game for the PS3 or PSP bought after November 18 will be limited to two activations at a time for each device type, down from the current five. Gamers will have to turn activations on or off either on the devices themselves or on the web.
