Flexible system uses Wi-Fi or Bluetooth
Pure recently announced several products destined for the US market, the Jongo modular audio system. The lineup enables users to enjoy synchronized audio in several rooms throughout the home, streamed from iOS or Android devices and manageable through dedicated apps. Electronista stopped by Pure's booth at CES to experience the new system ahead of its official release.

Single-speaker base expanable as users' need grow
Today at CES 2013, Pure announced the Jongo family of products -- affordable multiroom audio products that allows the user to start with a single speaker and add more Jongo products for perfectly synchronized audio all around a home. Using Wi-Fi along with the free Pure Connect app, users also get the additional benefit of listening to multiple, tightly synchronised Jongo products in a single room or in a multi-room environment.

Pure also announces Pure Stream service
In a pair of announcements today, Pure revealed both a new Internet radio system and a new music streaming offering. The Sensia 200D Connect is a new touchscreen-based music streaming and radio streaming system, and it is compatible with Pure Stream, a new music and radio streaming method compatible with iOS and Android devices.

Audio equipment purveyor Pure has detailed the Contour 200i Air speaker and docking system for the iPod, iPhone, and iPad. The new speaker integrates Apple's AirPlay, enabling the streaming of high-quality audio to the speaker set. If multiple Contour Air 200i units are on the same network, they can all be synchronized to play simultaneously, including a consistent volume level.

Pure next up with AirPlay through new Contour
A new FCC filing has given out Pure's plans to make its own AirPlay dock. The oval-shaped Contour 200i-Air takes the existing Contour and adds in the requisite Wi-Fi and companion hardware to take audio from iPads, iPhones, and iPod touch players on the local network. It's not clear if it will keep the Wi-Fi Internet radio features of its ancestor.

Pure Music to offer £5 per month straming service
Undercutting the other popular service, Spotify, Pure Music has just launched a cloud-based music service, RegHardware found. Its monthly subscription fee is £5 (about $8), or nearly half the price of Spotify's price. The Pure service will stream from a library of millions of songs, radio channels and mixes to notebooks, smartphones and Pure's own DAB radios.

Pure bringing three digital Internet radio to US
Pure on Monday announced it will bring three of its Internet-connected radios to North America on July 1st. This includes the Evoke Flow, the Oasis Flow and Siesta Flow. The Evoke Flow has an auxiliary input and can accommodate an add-on speaker or an iPod dock.
