Website authentication could be new fingerprint function for Galaxy Note 4
The Samsung Galaxy Note 4 could use the same fingerprint sensor as the flagship Galaxy S5, according to rumors. Details of the alleged additional feature to the smartphone line surfaces at the same time as Samsung tries to hype up its Unpacked event for IFA on September 3, by showing off the device's S Pen stylus in a teaser video.
Hovering S Pen above Galaxy Note 3 allows for app switching
Samsung has launched the latest model in its line of phablet devices. The Galaxy Note 3 brings with it a 5.7-inch Full HD Super AMOLED display, 0.2 inches larger than its predecessor, slight design changes, and significantly improved S Pen functionality, along with the usual specifications boost associated with new hardware versions, at the same time as its companion accessory, the Galaxy Gear smartwatch.
Smartphone rumored to merge Galaxy S, Galaxy Note lines
Samsung will be revealing the Galaxy S IV Android smartphone in April, according to rumors. The South Korean company is also said to be merging its Galaxy S and Galaxy Note series in the successor to the Galaxy S III, and will allegedly be the first in the Galaxy S series to launch with the S Pen stylus.
Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 case redesigned
The forthcoming, and heavily re-engineered, Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 has had its case redesigned to accommodate the S Pen. Although the smaller Galaxy Note 5.3 has a slot for the S Pen, it took observers by surprise at Mobile World Congress in February when Samsung first revealed the device without an in-built location to stow it. Since its Barcelona unveiling, Samsung has completely revamped the Note 10.1 and has now also shoehorned the same 1.4GHz Exynos 4412 quad-core processor from the Galaxy S III into the device.
