Upgrades of existing cases, military-grade protection offered
Following the unveiling by Apple of the iPhone 5 yesterday, case and accessory manufacturers have started to make products for the new phone. A number are opting to create cases with unique selling points, such as military-grade handset protection, with some designs appearing to be similar to cases for the iPhone 4 and 4s, albeit with obvious modifications for the new size and port placements.
Four cases offered with pre-order discount
Sena Cases has introduced a set of six new leather cases for the iPhone 4. Each case is handcrafted in Europe using full-grain Italian Napa leather. The MagnetFlipper is a bottom-hinged design with a magnetic fastening system. It has a belt clip and allows access to the iPhone's ports. The WalletSkin is a bottom-hinged wallet case. The WalletSkin has four pockets for credit cards and a semi-transparent ID holder built into the rear flap, which is kept closed with a protective snap.
