Silicon Power to bring out waterproof hard drive
Silicon Power on Wednesday introduced its rugged Armor A70 portable drive. It meets IEC529 IPX7 standards and is able to withstand drops, dust, pressure and submersion in up to three feet of water for 30 minutes. The Armor A70 runs at USB 2.0 speeds and doesn't require a secondary power source; its USB connector is built-in to make travel easier.
