Tablet waterproof at depth of 3 feet for 30 minutes, dustproof
Sony has opened up pre-orders for its Xperia Tablet Z in the United States via its online store. Shown off at Mobile World Congress in February, the ten-inch tablet measures just 6.9mm thick and weighs in at 495 grams (17.4 ounces), and as well as being dustproof, it is claimed waterproof enough to survive being at a depth of 3 feet for 30 minutes.
Both phones share height, SP appears wider
Images of the upcoming Android Jelly Bean Sony Xperia SP have leaked online. The photographs compares the handset, identified by the model number C530x and codenamed HuaShan, to the current Xperia V, and shows they are roughly the same in terms of length, though the Xperia SP is slightly wider than it's predecessor.
