Galaxy Note II didn't get 13MP camera due to low supply

LG ordered 13MP camera for Optimus G, kept Samsung from it

Samsung had plans to equip the upcoming Galaxy Note II with a 13-megapixel camera instead of the eight-megapixel unit it will ship with. However, supplier Sony couldn't provide Samsung with the needed sensors because LG had placed an order for the same cameras for its own flagship handset, according to Korea's DDaily. Insiders say LG placed the order with Sony to equip its upcoming Optimus G handset, touted as the most advanced smartphone to date.
