Update, scheduled for May, arrives late
Owners of Sony's Tablet P can now receive an update to the latest version of Android. The update to Android 4.0.3, announced on Sony's developer blog, brings drag-and-drop folder creation and improved multi-tasking, among other features. The update arrives later than had been expected, and nearly two months after Sony's Tablet S received its Android update.
Sony Tablet S, Tablet P to get Android 4.0
Sony has confirmed to CNet that Sony tablet owners in all regions will receive an over-the-air update to Android 4.0 by the end of May. Sony had previously announced the coming availability of Android 4.0 for all of its tablet models, though the company had not announced a specific timeline until now.
Dual-screen tablet will cost $550 contract-free
The pricing for Sony's dual-screened Tablet P for North America has finally been officially revealed. AT&T will launch the Android-powered tablet on March 4, which will be offered on a two-year contract for $400, or $550 on its own.
