Signature folio gets update for new iPad

The very first Targus iPad Air case we had a chance to look at -- the Versavu Keyboard Case -- didn't exactly earn high marks. I disliked it so much, in fact, that I immediately pulled it off once the hands-on was finished. Thankfully, Targus' new Vuscape folio case seems a little more competent -- at least at first glance. We'll see if it surpasses that level in our review.

Belkin, Targus come with new cases for new iPad

Apple device accessory makers Belkin and Targus have announced an array of new cases designed to fit Apple's forthcoming iPad Air. Belkin's new offerings for the Air include three new keyboard cases and three different cover designs. Targus, meanwhile, has one new keyboard case and five other cases of varying functionalities.

Best Buy stores already receiving iPad 3 cases

Shipments allegedly occurring in bulk

Sealed boxes of iPad 3 cases are starting to show up at Best Buy stores, a source claims. Each box is noted to have a sticker with a warning: "Do not display until official iPad 3 launch." This may suggest that "iPad 3" is the next-generation iPad's official name, but it could alternately be a placeholder.

Among the avalanche of accessories following the launch of Apple’s iPad 2 are a range of new cases from Case-Mate, Targus, iSkin and Marware. Case-Mate's new range of iPad 2 cases includes the Pop! ($50), Simple ($35), Leo ($100), Venture $50, Versant ($40), and the Gelli ($30). They are all listed as coming soon, and include minimalist styles such as the Simple, through to a more complete executive solution in the Leo.

Targus iPad Stylus requires no software or power

iPad owners have some new options today as Targus has launched a number ofaccessories for the iPad and STM Bags has launched its iPad org board. Targus has released two cases, a charger and a stylus. The Spruce EcoSmart Mini Messenger for iPad is made of recycled polyester with environmental bonuses of PVC- and nickel-free manufacturing. It protects and stores an iPad, with pen loops, a business card holder, and a mesh pocket for other small accessories in addition to two zippered compartments. It arrives with an adjustable, padded, removable shoulder strap and ships in black with green lining.

Targus at CES introduced a number of new products, including a fingerprint-resistant lineup of screen protectors for a number of smartphones and other handheld electronic devices. The Targus Screen Protector is billed resistant to scratches, smudges and skin oils thanks to its tiny ridged construction that also helps to eliminate glare.

Targus outs netbook, notebook cases, mice, etc.

PC accessory maker Targus on Monday announced the upcoming release of a whole slew of accessories and carrying cases for notebook and smaller netbook PCs, including mice, cases, presenters, cooling solutions, USB hubs and more. The new mice are compatible with both PCs and Macs, and ship with Energizer MAX batteries for long life out of the box. The first of the new products, the Bluetooth Comfort Laser Mouse has a 33-foot range and sports a 1,200dpi sensor, along with a 6-month battery life. It's priced at $40.
