Mobile monitor powered via USB
Lenovo has unveiled its first mobile monitor, the ThinkVision LT1421 Wide, alongside two new ThinkPad Edge notebooks. The monitor integrates a 14-inch LCD panel, with 16 different brightness levels and tilt adjustment to change the viewing angle. The display is powered via a USB cable, which also carries the display signal.

ThinkCentre M90z brings 23in touchscreen, Core i5
Lenovo on Thursday took the covers from its first large all-in-one desktop for pros. At 23 inches, the ThinkCentre M90z has both more workable area than the 19-inch A70z with a 1080p, multi-touch screen but has room for faster components. It carries either Core i3 or i5 processors and has the option of an SSD for storage.

ThinkVision L2251x Wide, more debut
Lenovo today overhauled its ThinkVision displays with multiple new models that all stress eco-friendliness first. The L2251x Wide, L2251p Wide, L2250p Wide, L1951p Wide and L1711p all use about 50 percent less power than the LCDs they replace. The L2251x Wide in particular is held up as the green example with 65 percent of its body made from post-use recycled plastics.

Lenovo 6 ThinkVision LCDs
Lenovo today began a sweeping update of its ThinkVision desktop LCDs that all focus on more eco-friendly performance. The 17-, 19-, 22-, and 24-inch displays largely use a new technique that improves the amount of light reaching the LCD while cutting down on the amount of backlighting needed, improving their power use between 30 to 60 percent depending on the model. A new range-topping model, the L2440x Wide, also uses an LED backlight and a low-halogen screen that let it use just 29W of power even with its large 24-inch panel.
