Jobs family, designer Starck reach agreement on payment
An agreement between the Jobs family and designer Philippe Starck has resolved a dispute that saw one of the late Steve Jobs' final projects, a 263-foot custom-designed mega-yacht called "Venus," impounded in an Amsterdam dock. The argument stemmed from Starck's contention that he hadn't been fully paid for his work, with the Jobs family saying that his fee was contingent on the final cost of the yacht, which actually came in under budget.

Project took years, features innovative look
An endeavour to design a world-class yacht for his family to use, one of the later projects of former Apple CEO Steve Jobs' life, has finally been completed after years of work and was christened by the Jobs family as "Venus" in a ceremony in Aalsmeer in the Netherlands. LG Venus at Telus
Telus late yesterday became the first North American provider outside of Verizon to offer the LG Venus. Called the Touch Venus by the Canadian provider, the slider remains unique in its replacement of the traditional directional pad in favor of a small touchscreen: while the main display is view-only, the input allows context-sensitive controls that reduce the need for a large number of single-purpose buttons. The phone is also more media-capable than most LG models with a microSDHC slot that holds up to 8GB and a 2-megapixel camera.

LG Venus Pink at Verizon
Verizon on Tuesday afternoon help round off its 2007 phone releases with the LG Venus Pink. The device replaces the all-black design of the original with a sparkle-textured pink sliding keypad and side trim. This makes the device more conspicuous for fashion-conscious women than the already high-visibility phone, which relies on a unique split view with a touchscreen replacing the normal buttons and directional pad of a conventional slider phone.
