Taiwanese PC maker Inhon claims title of thinnest, lightest notebook
Taiwanese manufacturer Inhon has unveiled the carbon fiber Blade 13 Carbon, reports Engadget. The company claims that it is the world’s thinnest and lightest notebook weighing just 870 grams and measuring only 10.7mm thick. As a point of comparison, Apple’s 13-inch aluminum MacBook Air, once the benchmark for ultraportables, weighs 1.35kg and measures 17mm at its thickest point.

Gigabyte delivers all-carbon fiber X11 notebook
Gigabyte has revealed its new X11, a new 11-inch notebook that it is calling the world’s first all-carbon fiber notebook as well as the world’s lightest. The X11 weighs in at 975 grams, sliding it in under the 11-inch Apple MacBook Air. It is also just 3mm thin at its thinnest point and 16.5mm at its thickest.

Carbon fiber iPhone case
Belch Co. is offering users a Memorial Day discount on its new carbon fiber iPhone case, which normally costs $80, available until midnight on Monday for $65. The new case offers almost complete chassis protection for the iPhone, leaving access to the dock connector, volume switches, and ring mute. Belch Co. says that the case only weighs seven grams, so it does not add a significant amount of weight to the device.
