Flip Mino, Ultra upgraded as we review Ultra HD
Cisco tonight unveiled a new slate of Flip cameras that promise a major lift in video quality. The Flip Ultra HD 2 hour and both 1 hour (4GB) and 2 hour (8GB) versions of the Flip Mino HD now shoot 720p video at 60 frames per second, improving their ability to handle motion and the perceived clarity. A gyroscopic image stabilization system is also new and prevents many of the more sudden jitters common to a pocket camcorder.

iGo to intro green product
iGo, manufacturer of chargers for numerous devices, including notebooks and other portable consumer electronics, announced on Tuesday it will unveil seven new products at its first visit to the CES expo in January. Among the new product reveals will be the first green laptop charger that will use up 80 percent less standby power compared to standard power products. Also part of the Green Technology products, the iGo Surge Protector will be debuted, with eight outlets that have shut-off and recovery functions to reduce standby power. An iGo Wall Outlet with the same functions rounds out the new Green line of products.
