Lenovo to include EE3 in Win 7 PCs starting now
Lenovo will begin shipping Think- and Idea-branded PCs with its Enhanced Experience 3 (EE3) software and hardware optimizations for Windows 7 before the end of April. Among other features, EE3's RapidBoot is said to speed up the boot times of hard disk drive-equipped Lenovo computers by 40 percent, on average, compared to typical Windows 7 PCs from others. The average boot time of an EE3-certified Lenovo PC is 24 seconds, while typical Windows 7 PCs with the same kinds of chips boot in an average of 41 seconds, Lenovo stated.
