Multi-track audio editing, new filters, more
Synium Software has updated its screen-recording and screencast creation software Screenium to version 2.0 which introduces a brand new video editor that offers multi-track video and audio editing, animation options, audio filters, automatic zooming in and emphasis of mouse clicks among other features. To celebrate the new release, the developers are offering the program from the Mac App Store or directly from the company's website at a sale price.

Video software maker Telestream today released a major update to its screen-capture and screencasting software ScreenFlow -- updating to version 3.0, which adds new Lion features such as automatic saving, along with greater efficiency and control features including timeline enhancements, and a new ability to highlight or obscure screen details. The new version also features a new iPad preset for export, and the ability to publish screencasts directly to Vimeo.

Adapter said to retail for $129
Belkin appears to be preparing to launch its ScreenCast WiDi adapter, which has already appeared on the company's website. The device allows users to wirelessly stream Blu-ray movies, web-based content in HD quality, audio content such as Pandora, and other audio or video feeds from a supported notebook to an HDTV or other display.

Screencasting app now allows direct YouTube upload
Telestream has released an update to its ScreenFlow screencasting software for Mac. Version 2 allows users to upload content directly to YouTube, with support for both SD and HD resolutions. The company has also added a variety of new 2D and 3D transitions, along with expanded control over editing, video speed, audio levels, keyboard shortcuts and document packages.

Telestream has announced an update to its screen recording software, ScreenFlow. iWeb Valet 2.2 ($25) is a tool for enhancing and uploading iWeb pages. After creating a page in iWeb, instead of publishing to MobileMe, iWeb Valet allows users to publish the site to a local folder and then upload it to an FTP sever. The new version now includes a first run wizard which assists new users with some of the basic setup tasks. ScreenFlow update
Telestream has released ScreenFlow 1.5, an update to its screencasting application. The company has added titling and text capabilities, along with customizable mouse pointers and audio effects. The update also allows single-channel microphones to be automatically mixed into stereo, while users can export screencasts to Windows Media using the company's Flip4Mac WMV tools.

Vara has released a v1.2 update to ScreenFlow, its screencast creation and editing program. Users can tweak audio and transitions, and focus on particular areas of the desktop, through effects like highlights and zooms. The new patch implements a number of changes, most crucially better copy and paste, which lets users perform both functions with clips and actions in the same document.

ScreenFlow 1.1 update
Vara Software today unveiled ScreenFlow 1.1, a sizable update to its screencasting application, adding audio waveforms, markers, and several other optimizations and improvements. The inclusion of audio waveforms allows users to find and remove unnecessary pauses, coughs, and other audio anomalies in recordings, as well as in any imported QuickTime Media. The update is free for existing users, and costs $100 for a new license.
