Target date may be December 18th
The US division of TD Bank is aiming at a mid-December launch of Apple Pay support, a source says. The company is reportedly training workers on both Apple Pay and tokenized Visa transactions. That training is scheduled to end late next week, in time for a launch currently targeted around December 18. To verify cards, the company is expected to use a system similar to that of institutions like Bank of America, which have people call their bank after adding a card through Passbook.
